Brooklynzhen, the musical alias of Glasgow-based artist Allan McCafferty is a versatile musician, producer, and software developer. With a background in old-school-death-metal, alternative rock, and electronica, Brooklynzhen has transitioned into the realms of organic house and techno, drawing inspiration from influential figures such as The Field, Daft Punk, DJ Hell, and the French underground house scene.

Brooklynzhen's debut single, "33rd Degree Jason," offered a unique blend of underground house and techno with a traditional song structure, making it easily accessible to a wide range of audiences.
